  • How do I tell if my wound is infected?

    Infections can vary depending on the type of wound that you have. If you are experiencing pain, discomfort or just aren’t happy with how your wound is healing then please contact us for a wound evaluation.

  • Why does my wound smell bad?

    Wound odor, which is also called malodor, results from necrotic tissue or bacterial colonization in the wound bed. This will allow us to accurately determine if your wound odor is normal or not.

  • How much do wound care consultations cost?

    Please contact us to get accurate pricing for your wound care treatment. We also accept all major medical aids and will assist you in processing your claim.

  • Do you accept medical aids?

    Yes we do. We accept all major medical aids and we will assist you in processing your medical aid claim. To get authorization you just need to get a doctor's referral letter from your GP before you book your appointment with us.

  • How many consultations will I need to heal my wound?

    This varies greatly on the type of wound you have and your specific case. To get more information regarding your specific wound please contact us for a wound evaluation.

  • I can’t drive, do you offer a mobile travel clinic service?

    Yes we do. We offer a mobile travel service within 15km of our Medgate (JHB) clinic, 5 to 10km from our Florida (JHB) clinic & within 10-15km of our Olivedale (JHB) clinic.


    For our Phoenix (KZN) clinic we offer patients an Uber pickup and drop-off service within 10km of our Phoenix clinic.
